SUMMARY:Canine Club – Spring Term 2026 (Somersfield Academy)
DESCRIPTION:Students learn the art and science of working with dogs through hands-on experience. Over the course of the term\, we explore dog safety\, canine body language\, positive reinforcement training\, and Rally – a sport built entirely around communication between handler and dog. Each week builds on the last\, moving from foundational skills like reading a dog’s signals and using a clicker\, through to designing and running their own Rally courses. The term wraps up with a Fun Match — a friendly scored Rally event celebrating the students’ progress across the term!
